"Praise the Lord Pastor Foster, I praise God for you're taking the time to come to [city] and personally ministering to me, and allowing God to use you. The impact on my life has not been fleeting emotionalism, but life altering! Thank you for bringing confirmation, correction and encouragement! After you left, I found myself embarrassed; embarrassed that I had allowed myself to be stuck, unable to make a decision regarding the direction of my life; embarrassed that I had been broadsided by situations to the point of backsliding. And I wouldn't have just been backslidden, I would be in the worse form of backsliding--having the full knowledge of the emptiness of homosexuality and having tasted the goodness of God!
Purpose is coming back into focus! Amongst the most profound things you said for me was, "Go, back to the beginning". God has impressed on me to go back to the beginning of the 9 years of notes that I have, and to read them from the beginning to the present, sermon notes, Bible study notes; in the midst of them are the words God has specifically for me. God filled my early Christian years with prophecy, I was bathed in prophecy--I need to go back and retreive that which He spoke over me, and extract it out; examine it, hold it and cherish it for the precious life that it is." ---GC, Kansas

Pastor Darryl Foster and 1st Lady Dee Foster are rendering an awesome service to the Body of Christ at large. Homosexuality and same-sex attractions are issues that affect every ministry, in one way or another. These topics are often neglected, overlooked or treated as if they do not exist. Sadly, when these issues are spoken of, they are usually mentioned in a condemnatory manner without giving the individuals any viable options that will lead them to deliverance.
As their bishop, I applaud them for their hard work in this area of ministry. My precious wife (Lakita) and I salute them as they continue to expand Witness Freedom Ministries, Inc. The Fosters use every means available to them. Their ministry is not just limited to preaching to homosexuals, but they provide a support system for those who genuinely want to be free.
I wholeheartedly endorse Witness Freedom Ministries, Inc. I am extremely proud of this man and woman of God for the following reasons: (1) Pastor Foster openly shared the testimony his personal deliverance in his landmark book entitled, “Touching A Dead Man”; (2) he did not allow the negativity of his past to rob him of the destiny encapsulated in his future; (3) He uses his testimony to bring deliverance to others; (4) Sister Foster stands firmly with her husband and is totally committed to his vision; and finally, (5) Darryl and Dee are my son and daughter in the Lord.
Truly, this couple is making a difference in the Kingdom of God.
In His service,
Bishop Aaron B. Lackey, Sr., Presiding
Prelate of the Georgia Northeast /
Alabama First Jurisdiction of the UCOGIC

Dear Elder Foster,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was priveleged to have read your recent magazine editorial regarding homosexuality in the black church and how it is dealt with. Yes, you hit the nail on the head.
I myself was ordained as a deacon in 2001 and an elder in 2004 in the AME Church before my initial ordination I found out first hand that so many religious leaders are preaching one thing and living otherwise.
I am glad that someone such as yourself had stepped out so boldly and said what should be practiced.
I hope that this can develop into a dialogue for possibly opening new ministries in the Mississippi region, especially since where I am from homosexuality is rampant in this state. So many young African Americans are flocking to Atlanta to become part of the self evolving nucleus of sexual sin and immorality.
Unless we speak up and meet the challenge, it will become an even more accepted form of behavior that will lead to destruction.---James GB, Mississippi
