Pastor Darryl L. Foster is Founder and Senior Servant at Praise Power Ministries, He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior in April 12, 1990 and was consequently baptized in the Holy Spirit. He began his ministerial journey in Feb 1991 preaching his first message from Luke 15:13-24 "A Famine in the Land".
After graduating from Marlin (TX) High School in 1980, he attended McClennan Community College majoring in journalism and mass communications. He also furthered his education at the University of Maryland and Liberty University’s External Degree Program. In 1981, entered active duty military service in the US Army and was honorably discharged after 10 years of service. Pastor Foster is a decorated combat veteran of the Iraq war (Operation Desert Storm) as well as foreign tours in Honduras, Egypt and Germany.
Pastor Foster has presented the gospel to thousands both nationally and internationally in such places as Jamaica, Barbados and Canada. Pastor Foster is author of the groundbreaking book, Touching A Dead Man: One Man's Explosive Story of Deliverance from Homosexuality which has sold over 3000 copies both here and abroad. He has also written and lectured extensively on the religious, social and political implications of homosexuality in American culture.
Pastor Foster married his beautiful wife, Dee in October 1992 in Columbus, GA. They are parents of Philip Aaron Michael, Charles Harrison Mason, Trinity Gabrielle, and Darrell Lawrence Alexander.
Pastor Foster is a man who has devoted his life to serving God for the scripture declared to whomever much is given, of him much is required.
Pastor Foster gives God 100% of the glory for redeeming his life and lifting him up to be an endtime witness of God’s power, goodness and mercy to the least of these. His favorite song is "Great is thy faithfulness".
